Salvaged Soul

Christa, owner of Salvaged Soul, creates unique custom-built wood furniture and decor. We met Christa and her family when we filmed her gorgeous wedding through our sister business, The Quail & The Dove wedding films, and were excited at the idea of a collaboration with her to create a video for her about page on her website. We knew that Christa was a lot of fun on camera (and her kids are too!) and that we’d be able to create a video that not only conveyed her business but also one that was fun, fashionable and a little edgier than a normal “about us” film.

Christa wanted the film to show her many sides — a full time mom who runs a successful business, a woman building and installing custom furniture in a male-dominated field, a fashion icon, Instagram influencer, wife, and young entrepreneur.

We spent a day with Christa to get footage of all the different aspects of her life. We showed up on a day where she was being featured by the Style Report Magazine and filmed her in fashion mode — getting her hair done, modeling outfits, etc. as well as with her kids, eating ice cream in downtown Temecula, hanging out with her family, and of course, building things in her workshop.

We shot a second film for Christa in 2017 to announce to her online followers that her husband, Jesse, was joining her as part of her business, Salvaged Soul.
